Climate - Borneo

Malaysian Borneo has a predominantly hot tropical climate, with much of the land being covered in dense rainforest. The northeast monsoon blows between November to March which is the wettest period, during which travel is more difficult as roads and walking trails can get very muddy. On the whole the weather is at its most pleasant between May and October, which is also the fruiting season in the forests when the wildlife is at its most active and easy to spot.
