Experience the quieter, more spiritual side of Bali on this comprehensive tour of the island's mountains, lakes and coastline with many opportunities for walking, cycling and snorkelling. The tour starts in the artisan town of Ubud to gain a sense of the island's cultural heritage before travelling north to the rural community of Munduk in the mountains, and on to the fishing village of Pemuteran which faces the Bali Barat National Park in the far north west. Continue to Lake Batur in central Bali where there is the option of a cycling tour and embarking on a community backed trek to the villages of Muntigunung on the slopes of Mount Agung. After some time to explore the beaches, temples and rice terraces of eastern Bali, the tour finishes at a charming boutique hotel on Jimbaran Bay in the far south.

• London Heathrow - Denpasar: via Kuala Lumpur with Malaysian Airlines.

• Bali: upon arrival transfer to your hotel in Ubud for a 3 night stay.

• Ubud: morning cultural tour of Ubud with special lunch.

• Ubud: half day optional cooking class. Afternoon at leisure.

• Ubud - Munduk: drive to Munduk with sightseeing en route. Stay 1 night in a rice terrace view cottage.

• Munduk - Pemuteran: morning walk in the rice fields and plantations. Drive to Pemuteran for a 2 night stay on the north coast.

• Pemuteran: day at leisure with an optional snorkelling or diving trip to nearby Menjangan Island.

• Pemuteran - Lake Batur: drive to Lake Batur with sightseeing en route. Afternoon leisurely cycling tour around the lake.
