A Khmer protégé of Le Corbusier designed and built Knai Bang Chatt's main house in 1962 to blend seamlessly with the deserted beach and blue ocean speckled with distant islands. The villa's three buildings have been converted into a luxury hotel and are linked together by outdoor staircases and passageways. The hotel has eleven bedrooms decorated with Cambodian artefacts and antiques, each of which has ample outdoor areas. Facilities include an infinity swimming pool carved out of volcanic rock, Spa, sailing club, restaurant and bar.
