Park Life in China

People's Park, Chengdu
Exercise, Jingshan Park
Tai Chi in the park

One of the joys of visiting China’s cities is to discover the treasure trove of Chinese life that can usually be found in its parks. The Chinese revel in their parks and the whole spectrum of life goes on here. Young lovers, businessmen, housewives and kids all enjoy meeting their friends, colleagues and relatives to enjoy the facilities or just have a gossip.

Amble through the park and observe Chinese life in full swing: tai chi, exercising, tea drinking, mahjong playing, singing, dancing, painting, chatting and of course eating can all be witnessed if you are lucky.
