Traditionally a haunt of only the most intrepid surfers, the tiny island of Siargao in the far South-East of the archipelago has traditionally been off-limits to upmarket travellers. With the addition of this luxurious 9-villa resort however, that is no longer the case. Built and owned by the people behind upscale furniture manufacturer Dedon, the accommodation is chicly-designed and faultlessly appointed. With just 9 villas on site, a high-level of service is guaranteed. The village is made up of a small collection of low-impact pavilions and tropical gardens. Siargao Island is an attraction in itself; unspoilt, little-visited, and easily explored on foot or by bike. The surf is the traditional attraction, but for the less active-inclined peace can be found in the resort’s library, pool, outdoor bar, or the private crescent-shaped white sand bay.
