An update on the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis
January to March - repatriation
Since mid-January, when the outbreak of Covid-19 took hold in China, we have been working hard to ensure that all our clients have been well looked after on the ground and returned safely home from various parts of Asia, as quickly as possible, when required.
It has been a very challenging few months but we are pleased to say that all our travellers are now home safe and sound, even if some of their holidays had to be curtailed due to regional or UK government advice.
Throughout the crisis we have paid heed to expert advice from the World Health Organization, our own Government and of course our local agents who have been, and continue to be, immensely supportive during this ongoing crisis.
Departures from April to June
For all departures from April to June we are contacting everybody individually to discuss their bookings and make new arrangements as required. If you haven’t heard from us yet please be patient – we will be in touch soon. Alternatively, please get in touch with your travel consultant to discuss the options regarding your booking.
We are very pleased to say that the majority of our clients who were due to depart during this period have postponed their trips rather than cancelled. We are extremely grateful for this support, along with our overseas partners – many of whom are having a very tough time now due to the global drop in tourism.
Departures from July to August
As it is not yet clear what impact Covid-19 will have on bookings over the summer months we are taking stock before contacting everyone about their trip in July and August. However, if you have immediate concerns about your booking please do get on touch with your travel consultant to discuss the various options that are available such as postponing the trip to a future date.
Departures from September to December
At this stage we are hopeful that anyone departing from September to December will get away safely. So for the time being normal terms & conditions apply. However we will of course be monitoring the Covid-19 situation very closely and will take appropriate action as necessary.
Bookings for 2021
Whilst we fully appreciate that you will have other things on your mind at this present moment in time, we would like to point out that we are still very much open for business and now is a great time to be thinking of travel plans for 2021. We have some very exciting countries for you to visit and we look forward to discussing your travel plans whenever you are ready.
