Professor Brian Cox has a new BBC TV series 'Wonders of Life' out at the moment and Sunday's first episode showcased a number of natural wonders from the Philippines and Borneo, both countries that we know very well.

Perhaps the most enchanting part of his programme was the footage on the endangered orangutans of Sabah, Borneo.

If you interested in seeing these amazing creatures then both halves of Borneo (Malaysian & Indonesian) offer great opportunities, either in designated orangutan sanctuaries or, if you are lucky, in the wild.

A number of our tours feature orangutans. If you would like to see them in Malaysian Borneo, along with other indigenous wildlife, then you could try our 'The Jewels of Sabah tour'. If, on the other hand, you would like to see them in Tanjung Puting National Park in Indonesian Borneo (Kalimantan) then you might like our 'Treasures of Indonesia' tour, which also includes a trip to see the Komodo dragons.
