Trashiyangtse

Trashiyangtse is a relatively new town but has a number of historic sights that are of interest to the intrepid traveller. The town is concentrated around the large and impressive Chorten Kora, which is modelled after the Bodnath Stupa of Kathmandu in Nepal, and which is much revered by visiting pilgrims.
