The Royal Sands is an all-villa barefoot luxury resort, set on a 550m stretch of powdery white sand beach on the undeveloped Cambodian island of Koh Rong. The low-rise resort is designed using natural materials, including teak wood, bamboo and limestone, with an emphasis on open air venues from which to enjoy the spectacular ocean views. Each of the 67 detached villas are fitted with super King-size beds and spacious bathrooms featuring indoor and outdoor rain showers, and laid out in a uncluttered tropical style to provides a contemporary and relaxed ambiance.
