The villa includes staff and a cook, who can prepare meals for you as required and will be happy to give you an on-site Sri Lankan cookery class. With its location on the south coast, there are lots of great day trips that can be easily arranged from Kumara, including to Galle (45 mins) and the Kanneliya Rainforest (1.5 hours) and there are opportunities for whale and dolphin watching at Mirissa (15 mins) and surfing at Weligama (5 mins). Weligama is also the closest beach.
