Possibly the most curiously-named hotel in the country, the Benikea Jazz Around is Jeonju’s most upmarket international-style hotel. It is smaller than the usual chain hotels, so has a hint of boutique to go along with the usual mix of international comforts and modern facilities. Rooms are equipped with everything the Western traveller could need, and facilities onsite include a restaurant and coffee shop. The property is around 10 minutes’ drive from the city centre, but still makes a good base for sightseeing and wider exploration.
