Haveli Dharampura is the culmination of a 10-year restoration project, taking an abandoned 19th century family mansion deep in the maze of Old Delhi’s backstreets, and coverting it into a hugely attractive and atmospheric 14-room boutique hotel. The property is set over three stories, with a network of fluted columns and arched corridors lacing around a central open-air courtyard. Rooms have all the usual modern amenities, but proudly wear their heritage their fine antique furnishings, stained glass, and decorative tiled floors. Ground floor restaurant Lakhori has become something of a buzz dining destination within the city, serving up a refined take on traditional Delhi street food, while the open rooftop bar is a fantastic spot for a cool sun-downer. Please note that due to its location amongst the tight bazaars of Old Delhi there is no vehicle access to the haveli. You will be dropped by car around 300 yards from entrance, covering the final distance on foot. There will be porters and your guide to assist with carrying luggage.
