Lchang Nang Retreat - Nubra Valley
Lchang Nang, the ‘House of Trees’, is set amidst an orchard of elm, apricot, and apple trees, further blessed by the continuous flow of the Siachen river rushing past its western boundary. 17 individual cottages, created in the local architectural style using mud, stone and poplar, are accessed through a footpath. Each cottage connects to a private garden and outdoor terrace. Contemporary furniture is complemented by handpicked rugs and soft furnishings; beds, those all-important temples of healing, are made up with fine brushed cotton sheets, luxurious quilts and deep pillows. The restaurant provides fuel for a day’s adventure in a full breakfast spread, with local favourites served at lunch and dinner. Lchang Nang also curate "Signature Experiences" for guests that celebrate the local culture and people of Ladakh. From leisurely sundowners amid pristine sand dunes to creative culinary classes with experts, and from restorative yoga to spectacular spa sessions, there is a treasure trove of experiences on offer.
