The Bagan Thande Hotel is situated in the heart of Old Bagan and has a dramatic location overlooking the Irrawaddy River. The hotel's river view rooms are spacious with wooden furniture and offer amenities such as air-conditioning, TV, mini-bar, a private bathroom as well as some of the best river views in Bagan. The hotel's restaurant is housed in an original 1922 pavilion used at the time of the Prince of Wales' (later Edward VIII) visit in the 1920s. Occasional entertainment is provided at the restaurant.
