Golden Butterfly Hotel

The serene Golden Butterfly Hotel is a comfortable hillside retreat with a fantastic setting between Mogok and Kyatpyin. There are 24 en-suite chalets leading down to the main restaurant area, from where you can dine looking out onto the rolling hills and valley below, on a clear day the view is quite breath-taking. Below the restaurant is a swimming pool and decking area, ideal for a relaxing dip after an afternoon trekking. There are indeed some great trekking routes that can be enjoyed from the hotel - ask your guide or staff for more details. Below the restaurant is a new wing with a further 40 rooms and a small spa. Please be aware that the hotel is on quite a steep hill and although not long distances, walking up and down from the restaurant area can be hard work!
