The Atana Musandam sits on a waterway with views out to the mountains in the distance on the northern tip of the Musandam peninsula bordering the United Arab Emirates. The resort’s 110 well-appointed rooms and suites feature a private balcony or terrace and are spread throughout eight clusters of low rising buildings inspired by a typical Omani village, with olive and banana trees dotted throughout the grounds. The majority of the low rise buildings provide private parking and with easy access to Khasab Airport, just a ten-minute drive, or Dubai, 160 km away, the Atana Musandam is an ideal base for those on a self-drive itinerary. The onsite Al Mawra restaurant serves traditional Omani dishes and international favourites. The hotel is alcohol free but there is a bar at its sister property, the Atana Khasab, which is just a five-minute drive away.
