Elephant Reach

Located just 12km from the Yala National Park, the Elephant Reach Hotel makes a comfortable base from which to explore the park by safari jeep. There are 35 comfortable rooms and chalets in total at the hotel, spread throughout the spacious and peaceful gardens, some interconnecting and ideal for families. The gardens are also home to a number of wooden elephants and a small children's playground. The main restaurant, ‘Tusks', overlooks the large swimming pool and there is a bar to unwind in with a cocktail the end of the day. If guests wish to explore the surrounding area in between safari drives there are bicycles that can be hired and it is an easy ride to the nearby Tissa Wewa resevoir.
