Cingjing is a small town nestled in the heart of the incredibly picturesque Central Mountain Range. Also known as 'Cingjing Farm' the town is famed for its local sheep farms and in recent years has assumed the distinct atmosphere of rural England, even boasting a few questionable mock-Tudor style houses and red phone boxes!
Cingjing makes for a pleasant pit stop to for those journeying between the Taroko National Park and Sun Moon Lake on the scenic Cross-Island Highway. The town boasts some great walking trails and an overnight stay can be arranged for those looking to hit the trails or simply soak in the town’s unique atmosphere.
