Praslin

The island of Praslin is the second largest in the Seychelles and can be reached by a short flight from Mahe or a longer ferry ride. Praslin is famous for its national parks and the Vallee de Mai Nature Preserve where you can see the unique coco de mer and indigenous birdlife like the Seychelles Black Parrot. The island has some famous beaches, like Anse Lazio, and some wonderful hotels from where you can explore the island. Praslin offers visitors traditional island activities such as walking, swimming, snorkelling, diving and other watersports, but there are a host of small islands dotted around its coast and these make for great day trips.
