The Gongkhar Guest House is a friendly, family run property in Bumthang's Chokhor Valley positioned just outside the town and across the valley from the Jakar Dzong. The rooms can be found in one storey blocks set around a central lobby and dining area. The rooms are all comfortable with mainly wooden interiors, a traditional heater for the winter and a private bathroom. The restaurant serves good home style cooking and you can expect a mix of Bhutanese and Western style dishes.
