Tigerland Safari Resort

Tigerland Safari is spread across 8-acres of verdant greenery, set by a river which separates the lodge from the expanse of Chitwan National Park. The 35 cottage rooms are built on stilts off the ground, replicating the local Tharu culture, and are designed to survive both tropical heat and monsoon rains. The rooms are well-equipped with comfortable beds, air-conditioners and heaters (dependent on time of year!), and modern bathrooms with hot water supplied by gas or solar-powered sources. There is a large communal restaurant which serves meals buffet style, catering to both local and international tastes. There is an expert team of naturalists in-house who lead all excursions, including jeep safaris, jungle walks, bird-watching, canoeing, fishing and village tours.
