1000 Nights is an established, yet remote desert camp nestled in between the vast sand dunes of Wahiba Sands. It offers comfortable guest accommodation in 42 traditional Bedouin style woven tents or four more modern sand houses. The tents come in three categories, but all have their own private terrace, an en suite shower and toilet and air-conditioning. A selection of exciting and romantic desert activities can be arranged from the camp, including dune bashing, sand surfing and sunset camel rides, making this a great option for couples and for families. All meals are included at the camp with guests having the opportunity to try some traditional Omani fare. In the winter months (November to March), mornings and evenings can be very cold in the desert, so guests are advised to bring warm clothing.
