Kenting National Park
Occupying the whole of the Hengchun Peninsula at the southernmost point of Taiwan is the Kenting National Park. With a wealth of low mountains, thick forest, rugged cliffs and great beaches, it is easy to see why Kenting is one of Taiwan's most popular tourist destinations. Recommended activities during your stay include a walk around the Kenting Forest Recreation Area, relaxing at Kenting Beach or organising a surfing, snorkelling or scuba diving trip. There are also some excellent spots for bird-watching around Longluan Lake, Eluanbi, the Sheding Naturer Park and Manjhou. Indie music fans should try and visit during April when the Spring Scream festival takes place.
