Bird Island

Bird island is the most northerly island in the Seychelles and not surprisingly is home to a multitude of birds – particularly the sooty tern that nests here from May to October. Privately owned, the island provides rustic accommodation that offers a quiet retreat from the world and a place to engage with nature in particular a variety of bird species as well as hawksbill & green turtles. Visitors gain access to the island by a 30 minute flight from Mahe and once here can enjoy the fine beaches, warm blue water and natural surroundings.
