Qui Nhon

Qui Nhon, also written as Quy Nhon, has a pretty stretch of beach with several chic resorts. Outside of the town it still maintains the feel of a quiet fishing village, and offers a degree of authenticity lost from some of Vietnam’s more developed resort areas. The coast is dotted with fishing villages and the area is famous for its exceptional seafood. As well as some charming beaches and coves the area is also home to the ancient Thap Doi Cham Towers.

Quy Nhon can be reached by a short flight from Ho Chi Minh City, but best reached by a 5-hour train journey from Danang, where the railway hugs the coastline for much of the journey. To travel in style, take the luxury Vietage train that runs between Danang and Quy Nhon.
