Family Adventure in Cambodia (18 days)
Cambodia is one of Asia’s most family-friendly destinations, and this tour includes some awesome experiences for older kids and adults alike in the cities, temples, jungles and off-shore islands. Start in the capital Phnom Penh, where you spend a day at the Phnom Tamao wildlife rehabilitation centre, and explore the thriving urban scene of the capital. Trace the Mekong upstream to Kratie, for a kayaking adventure in the freshwater dolphin pools at Kampie. Then head east to Mondulkiri Province, and spend a day at the Elephant Valley conservation project before a night in a jungle camp to track gibbons and other wildlife in the Seima Protected Forest. Next head towards the buzzing temple town of Siem Reap, and spend a day on an interactive scavenger hunt around the vast temple complex of Angkor Thom, then embark on an exhilarating zip-lining adventure through the ancient forests of the archaeological park. Fly to the south coast for a few days well-earned rest on Koh Rong Samloem’s Saracen Bay, and finish your trip at a riverside resort in the charming town of Kampot just south of Phnom Penh. Rest assured that becoming ‘templed out’ will not come in to the equation!

The object of this original photographic scavenger hunt is to explore the immense walled city of Angkor Thom and find some little gems along the way. Some of the challenges will require a photograph of a specific statue or carving and others will require some interactivity on the part of you or your group. The hunt begins at the South Gate of Angkor Thom before finishing at the Preah Pithu Temple. Along the way you'll be taken to the glorious giant faces of The Bayon, as well as some smaller off-the-beaten-track ruins where you’ll be the only visitor. At the finale, jump back into your vehicle and drive down to the atmospheric East Gate for a commemorative group photo.
