Set in the foothills of the Aravalli Range, the Amanbagh perfectly matches the rural splendour and cultural heritage of Rajasthan. A two-hour drive from the historical Pink City the resort, formerly the location of the mobile hunting camp of the Maharajah of Alwar, has been transformed into a lush, peaceful garden of palm, fruit and eucalyptus trees. 40 rooms are spread throughout the resort, which has been designed with a nod to India’s Mughal past. The Haveli rooms are set amongst the lush gardens, while the Pool Pavilions are set around the boundary of the grounds, each boasting their own private pool and garden. The restaurant serves a range of Indian and International dishes, where possible the chefs using freshly picked ingredients from the resort’s two-acre organic kitchen garden. Guests have a range of amenities to enjoy during their stay including: a 33-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, and organised visits to the surrounding villages and countryside.
