An exciting itinerary which combines the most legendary Filipino volcanoes with some of its' most stunning islands and beautiful beaches. Starting from Manila, the tour begins with a visit to Mount Pinatubo, the most famous volcano in the Philippines, and then heads further south to see the Taal Volcano, billed as the world's smallest volcano. Afterwards you will visit the island of Bohol to visit the famous Chocolate Hills - another landscape which has been created by the forces of nature. These extraordinary landscapes are in stark contrast to the sublime beauty of the beaches on Panglao Island, Negros & Boracay that will form the second half of your tour.

Meet & greet: On arrival in Clark, you will be met by your English-speaking guide and then transferred to Magalang which is around 30 minute drive from the airport. Check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to recover from the long flight.

Full day guided tour of Mount Pinatubo: After an early breakfast, your adventure starts at the 4WD station, from where you will be taken to the Abacan River, where the local Aeta community have taken up planting cassava on parts of this fertile area. You will also see the resettlement site where this community set up residence after being displaced by the volcanic eruption of Mount Pinatubo. Afterwards, move on to Sacobia Lahar Grand Canyan, where towering cliffs form a maze of ravines and walls. Later you will find yourselves in front of the "Gate of Heaven" - a small passageway formed between two huge boulders that sit in the middle of the river. Trekking along the thick layer of grey volcanic ash and mud, where local plants and wild sunflowers grow profusely providing a bright contrast to the stark grey landscape, you will arrive at a waterfall beside the crater's base camp. Here you will find a refreshing relief from the heat with sun-warmed waters soothing tired muscles. Take a dip and sample the waters of the surrounding hot and cold springs. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant and afterwards you will visit Pasig Portrero River's ‘Watch Tower'. Shortly afterwards you will cross the Pasig Portrero River to visit the ‘robot' landmark and witness the sunken homes, buildings and church which were all buried by Mount Pinatubo's wrath.
Private transfer: After the day's sightseeing, you will drive down to Manila to check into your hotel for the night. This will be a journey of approximately 2 hours.

Private transfer to and sightseeing at Villa Escudero: After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Villa Escudero which is a quaint resort located in Tiaong Quezon, about 2.5 hours' drive south of Manila. An 800-hectare coconut plantation that dates back from the Spanish era, it typifies the Filipino lifestyle in a rural setting. Visit the Villa's private museum which features an interesting collection of historic, religious and cultural artefacts dating back from pre-Hispanic times through to World War II. Ride a carabao driven cart for a sightseeing tour of the plantation and observe how the coconuts are harvested and processed. Proceed to the man-made waterfalls where lunch is served on tables set over a flowing stream. This afternoon you will continue your journey to Tagaytay, home to the Taal volcano. On arrival, you will check into your hotel.

Guided tour of Taal Volcano: After breakfast at the hotel, you will set out to explore the world's smallest volcano and discover how Taal acquired the lengthy moniker: an island in a crater lake on an island. Proceed to Talisay, Agoncillo and San Nicolas. Upon arrival board a motorized outrigger boat for the 30 minute crossing to Taal Volcano Island. Trek uphill through the hardened black lava to the rim of the crater from where you will see an apple green lake containing a small moon shaped island. After time to look around and take pictures you will return to Taal Lake's shoreline for lunch.
Private transfer: This afternoon, you will drive back to Manila and then transfer to the airport for the Philippine Airlines flight to Cebu.

Morning guided city tour of Cebu: After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a tour of Cebu, a city which retains a certain colonial charm. Magellan's Cross, the nearby Basilica Minore del Santo Niño and Fort San Pedro are visited in the course of the tour. Drive by Colon Street to San Carlos University and Cebu's Beverly Hills. End the tour with a visit to the Taoist Temple.
Afternoon at leisure: After the sightseeing, you are free to relax or explore on your own.

Private transfer to the port: This morning, you will be transferred to the ferry terminal in Cebu in time to check in for the ferry to Bohol.
Ferry to Bohol: On arrival at the port, you will take the ferry to Bohol. The journey will take around 2 hours. Please note that your free baggage allowance is limited to 10kg per person including carry-on luggage. Any amount over this will be subject to an excess luggage charge.
Private transfer: On arrival in Bohol, you will be met and transferred to Panglao Island, just over the bridge from Bohol, to check in at your beach hotel.
Guided tour of Tagbilaran City: After checking in, you will be picked up for a city tour of Bohol's capital, Tagbilaran City, stopping off at points like the Provincial Capitol, Plaza Rizal, St. Joseph Cathedral which still stands after twice being destroyed by fire, and Bohol Museum, which used to be the humble abode of the 4th president of the country, President Carlos P. Garcia, and now houses flora and fauna collections. Afterwards you will have time to shop for local products and other souvenirs.

Full day guided tour of Bohol: After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and taken for a tour of Bohol’s scenic spots. The tour starts at the ‘Blood Compact Site’ where an agreement was reached on 16th March 1565 between Sikatuna, a native chieftain, and Miguel Lopez de Legaspi, the Spanish explorer and colonizer. You will then continue on to Baclayon Church which is one of the island’s ancient Spanish churches (this was badly damaged in the 2013 eartthquake). From here you will drive to the Tarsier Sanctuary at Corella where you will have a chance to see one of the world’s smallest primates. The Tarsier, no larger than a man’s hand, is indigenous to the Philippines and is an extremely rare animal these days, due to the destruction of its natural habitat. Afterwards you will join a river boat for a leisurely lunch-time cruise up the Loboc River to see one of the island’s waterfalls and this afternoon you will drive to see the incredible ‘Chocolate Hills’. From a viewing point you will be able to look out over the 1268 hills which combine to make up this incredible landscape. The tour ends with visits to the ‘Man Made Forest’ and Hinagdanan Cave. Afterwards, you will return to your beach hotel.

Private transfer to the port: This morning, you will be transferred to the ferry terminal in Tagbilaran in time to check in for the ferry to Dumaguete on Negros.
Ferry to Negros: On arrival at the port, you will take the ferry to Negros. The journey will take around 1 hour and 40 minutes. Please note that your free baggage allowance is limited to 10kg per person including carry-on luggage. Any amount over this will be subject to an excess luggage charge.
Private transfer: On arrival in Negros, you will be met and taken for lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on a 5 hour trip overland to Bacolod City. On arrival in Bacolod, late in the afternoon, check in to your hotel.

Full day guided tour of the Sugar Plantations: After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel and set off on the tour. Today you will visit the sugar producing town of La Carlota, located 45 minutes south of Bacolod City. First stop will be the Hacienda Canman-ug and its muscovado mill, one of the country's oldest sugar mills (normally the tour will include a demonstration of how sugar was made in the pre-industrialized past, however, milling is non-operational from May-September). Stop for a picture stop of the ‘iron dinosaur', a steam engine that is used to transport cane from the fields to the mills and then proceed to the mill site of Central Azucarera de la Carlota. Lunch will be taken at the Guintubdan Visitors Reception Centre and Gardens, which is located some 2,000ft above the plains of Negros Occidental and affords wonderful views. After time to explore, you will be returned to your hotel to relax.

Private transfer: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the pier in time to check in for the ferry to neighbouring Panay Island.
Ferry to Panay Island: On arrival at the port, you will take the ferry to Iloilo on Panay Island. The journey will take around 45 minutes. Please note that your free baggage allowance is limited to 10kg per person including carry-on luggage. Any amount over this will be subject to an excess luggage charge.
Private transfer: On arrival in Iloilo, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check in.
Guided Iloilo Countryside tour: After checking in, you will set out to explore the countryside around Iloilo. Pass through the flower gardens of La villa de Arevalo and the town of Oton before stopping at the town of Tigbauan to see the only church in the country with a Latin-American Churiguesque style. It has one of the most beautiful modern style interiors made up of colourful stone murals. Beside the church is a monument to the first Jesuit school for boys in the Philippines, established in 1592. Continue on to Guimbal town with its beautiful plaza and an imposing yellow-sandstone church and afterwards proceed on to Miag-ao town to see the famous Miag-ao Church built in 1706 with a unique façade of botanical motifs reminiscent of Aztec art. This church was declared a national landmark in 1973 and is included in UNESCO's World Heritage List. The tour ends with a drive around the campus of the University of the Philippines Visayas. After which you will return to your hotel.

Full day guided Guimaras Island tour: After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel and set off for a tour of Guimaras Island which is just of the southern coast of Panay Island and is known for its mango and cashew products as well as scenic coves and beaches. From the hotel transfer to Ortiz Pier where you will board a regular outrigger boat for a 20 minute ride to Jordan on Guimaras Island. From here continue on to a Trappist monastery, the only one in the country run by genuine Trappist monks. The trip takes you along verdant countryside of mango plantations, cashew trees and many tropical fruit trees. Lunch will be taken at a local beach resort in Nueva Valencia where you will have time for a swim and some relaxation. Later return to your hotel for the night.

Private transfer to Caticlan with sightseeing: After breakfast, embark on a 5 hour journey through rice fields, pasturelands, sugar cane plantations and fruit orchards. On the boundary that separates Iloilo from the province of Capiz, view the several fruit stands that dot the highway. Pass through the towns of Capiz until you reach the province of Aklan. You will make a short stop in Kalibo, the provincial capital of Aklan, a sleepy town that comes alive every third weekend of January, when the province observes the Feast of the Holy Infant Jesus (Santo Nino) with a festival called the "Ati-Atihan", a high-spirited event celebrated Mardi Gras-style with colourful costumes, masks, music and street dancing. Your final stop will be at Caticlan's jetty.
Hotel boat transfer: On arrival at the port, you will be met by the representative of your hotel for the 15 minute boat ride to Boracay Island.
