Birding in West Bali National Park

The West Bali National Park (also known as Bali Barat) is home to over 120 species of bird which thrive in this protected area. Many of the species that inhabit the park are on the endangered species list.  A morning birdwatching tour, in the company of a private bird-watching guide, is a great way to discover them in their natural habitat. In particular one should look out for the Bali Starling, which is one of the rarest endemic species in the area, and is currently fighting extinction.
