Balinese cooking class in Ubud

Each Indonesian island has a slightly different cuisine, and Bali is certainly no different. Exotic spices and ingredients form the basis of Balinese food. On a half-day cooking class one can learn about these ingredients, how they are produced and prepared, as well as exploring cooking techniques and fascinating kitchen myths of this unique culture. Working under instruction of an experienced private culinary teacher, you will be encouraged to prepare a lavish Balinese feast that will then be enjoyed with a glass or two of local rice wine, or homemade hibiscus tea. As well as providing a fantastic memory, once primed with this knowledge you will be able impress friends and family by recreating Balinese traditional food when you return home.
