KOTO Cooking Class in Hanoi

In the morning you will be taken to visit the local market to select the ingredients for your cooking class, accompanied by your chef. This will be followed by a hands-on experience in cooking with expert guidance from a trained chef. Discover some of the different styles of Vietnamese cooking and learn how to make a full meal set, which will then be enjoyed for lunch. At the end you will receive copies of the recipes to take home.

KOTO stands for 'Know One, Teach One', and it reflects the belief that if you're in a position where you can help someone less fortunate, then you should do so; and the greatest thanks you can receive is to one day see that person be in a position to do the same for someone else. The KOTO Foundation provides training for disadvantaged young people in Vietnam and provides them with necessary skills to allow them to work in the hospitality and tourism industries. The training courses are provided to the students free of charge and KOTO provides jobs for them after they complete the training. By participating in the cooking class you are helping them to provide valuable resources and training for these youths.
