The Balcony Walk

'The Balcony Walk' is probably the most famous walk or trek in Oman. It follows a rugged winding cliff path around Jebel Shams to the abandoned village of As Sab and takes most people around three hours to walk from the roadside at Khateem to the village and back again. The scenery you'll encounter on this walk is as dramatic as you'll find anywhere in the world, with huge cliffs rising up from a seemingly bottomless canyon. Be sure to take your camera as this is a walk you will never want to forget!
