Kayak in the Gulf of Oman

The coast around Muscat is littered with interesting, sheltered bays and a fine day out can be had, by all age groups, exploring these areas in a kayak. Our recommended kayaking spot to set off from is Bandar Khayran, a coastal town around 45 minutes’ drive east of Muscat. Khayran beach faces out onto a peaceful bay, sheltered from the gulf and with lots of interesting inlets and islands to explore. All kayaking equipment and lifejackets will be supplied on the day and we can arrange for a picnic lunch which you can enjoy on the beach before heading back to your hotel in Muscat.
