Cai Rang Floating Market

Start early in the mornng to board a traditional sampan boat, whch will take you to explore Cai Rang, the largest floating market on the Mekong. The seemingly chaotic gathering is mostly large boats wholesaling vegetables and fruit, but there are also local traders selling groceries to the larger boats. The market is at its most active early in the morning and quietens down as the day wears on. After experiencing the market you can continue to explore some of the canals and tributaries of the Mekong, and get to know more about the way of life in this beautiful part of Vietnam.
