Nomadic Family Stay

Mongolia is one of the few remaining countries on earth that is still home to truly nomadic people. The best way to experience this way of life first-hand is to stay overnight in a guest ger alongside a rural Mongolian family. Mongolian hospitality is both generous and unassuming, and the families will go about their business of day to day life rather than putting on a show.  You will get a true insight in to the nomadic lifestyle that is, for the most part, as traditional as you might imagine.  At the homestays your guide will help you communicate with the families and to understand traditional customs and the nomadic way of life. The sleeping arrangements are in separate gers alongside the main family ger, with single beds complete with bedding provided by the family.
