Indigo Tie-Dye Workshop

Located just two hours by road from Udon Thani, and only 10 minutes from central Sakon Nakhon, the Creative Crafts Centre at Mann Gardens offers an immersive and educational tie-dye experience. Visitors are guided through the entire process of creating a tie-dye garment, from initial concept to the finished piece.

Mann Gardens is an organic farm where cotton is cultivated, spun into thread, and woven into fabric using traditional methods. These fabrics are then crafted into garments on-site, ready for dyeing. The indigo used in the dyeing process is also grown and produced at the farm. Through a series of demonstrations, you will gain insight into each stage of production and see how the elements come together to form a completed garment.

After learning the techniques, you will choose a design, prepare your fabric with guided tying methods, and use natural indigo dye to create your own unique piece. Once dyed, your garment is rinsed and left to dry under the sun while you relax and enjoy the serene, nature-filled surroundings. When dry, your personalised creation is ready to take home as a meaningful souvenir.
